We are a regular 'busy busy' family with part grown up offspring (and grand-children!) & a teenager at home, who fell in love with Wales when we invested in a property there in 2007 (Beachlands House).

A 'fortune teller' many years ago, told me that I would live by the sea, so it seemed my destiny for us to buy a bolt hole to retire to one day.

One thing led to another (as these things do....) and we also bought an apartment overlooking the beach.  In 2008 we decided to rent this out for holidays and enjoyed a very busy first season.  We were totally booked and could have done with more weeks in the year, but alas, this is something we were unable to do!

When the house we were renting out on a long term basis just 100 metres away become vacant, we knew immediately what we needed to do!

The whole house was decorated & cleaned from top to bottom and the process of furnishing it to a high standard became a priority, making it ready for the autumn and for 2009 holiday makers.

And there we have Beachlands House - a perfect place for families, couples, or friends of all ages to spend their valuable home from home time!

Our aim is to obtain Visit Wales grading on Beachlands House in the coming months (yes it takes a long time to do this!) and give credence to our belief, that if you are going to do something, do it well.  We will not "spoil the ship for 'apence of tar".
